• Compose weekly emails informing student workers of their weekly schedules, new policy
changes, uniform requirements, as well as other additional information
• Construct weekly schedules within online database for all student workers. Make regular copies
of schedules and post it on general bulletin board, weekly. Be available to answer any questions
pertaining to schedules
• Make regular adjustments to schedules should the student provide a compelling enough reason
to require a change and double check that there aren’t too many students all working a similar
shift. If so, be responsible for making the appropriate changes
• Monitor that day-to-day protocol is being followed by all student workers in terms of uniform,
safety regulations being followed, respect shown to full time staff/other fellow student workers.
Record students who are in violation of ANY rules
• Assist full time staff with any duties
• Responsible for bridging the communication gap between student workers and full time staff via
email/bulletin board announcements
• At the end of each working week, ensure that all student workers are fulfilling their weekly
requirements (a minimum of 10 hours worked per week). If a student has not done so,
effectively communicate the consequences to the student
• Note down routine student evaluation comments from full time staff
• Organize and maintain working office space
• Assist in training new workers
• Fill out orders for supplies that are low in stock
• Provide tours to incoming employees, UNT staff, visitors, etc.
• Participate in tabling events during on campus career fairs to recruit new employees
