My team and I recurecuitedited three hundred plus women to participate in a HIV trail. The trail was to see if high risk women living in high risk areas of Chicago, could be high risk and not get infected. We followed the women for three years, no one ever got infected. The participants were paid for their time and transported to and from the study. We also did pre and post counceling for them. We followed these women to shelters, burned down buildings, housing projects, on the streets, prison, wherever they were. Also did community outreach work ,passed out condoms, poppers, cookers and clean kneedles. Hosted community gatherings on the spread of HIv and STD’s.

Meals on wheels
Case manager
Case manager for the southwest meals on wheels. My job was to go and make contact with all three hundred plus clients on the meals program and see if they still qualified, were still living, living at the same address, still in need of meals. This part of the program had been neglected for sometime, the files w
ere neglected, some were just scapes of paper, and an address, I sorted through, made new files computerized them. Some of the clients had passed away, some of the household members were still receiving the meals. Some clients wanted hot food, some wanted cold food. Some just want to talk, and let me know they were still alive.
Experience:
T.a.s.c.
Re-release case manager
I worked with women who just got out of prison. My job was to get them somewhat acclamate to being out in society, so they wouldn't re-enter the prison system again. Anywhere from helping them get employment to ID cards, license, social security card, library card to seeing their children's for the first time since their release. Kept all records on my clients computerized, for easy access. Transported clients to court appointments, and more, check to see if clients were using drugs, to getting alone with family members to staying away from risky situations.
