Work Experience:
• Cashier/model at Hollister Co. (2014-2015): Wearing Hollister clothing around the floor of the store, welcoming customers to the store/ greeting them. Checking customers out one they are ready to make purchases. Fixing garments that are out of place.
• Secretary at the Office of graduate studies (2017-2018): Making appointments, setting up schedules according to the availability of all the staff. Answering phone calls, greeting guests in, answering any questions about the status of their application, lettings students know of deadlines, answering emails, receiving and faxing paperwork.
• Front Desk Agent at Resorts Casino & Hotel (2015-2018): Greet guests, make reservations using the LMS system, checking in and out guests, calling hosts to pick up charges when needed, making comp reservations based on the players promotions and play. Bringing the guests their keys when it stopped working to their room, doing the paperwork for scooters and wheelchair rentals.
• Gourmet Coordinator at Olon Restaurant (May 2018-August 2018): Making reservations, helping to fix issues that may arise with the service provided by the servers, assisting guests with any concerns or questions they have, welcoming them to the restaurant. Helping run the restaurant smoothly.
• Server at Café 500 at Ocean Resorts (May 2018-August 2018): Taking orders, serving the food, providing a very friendly and welcoming environment to the guests.
• Rooms Controller at Harrah’s Hotel & Casino (May-September 2018): Lead on duty, answer phone calls, make reservations, check the status of the rooms.
• Trilingual paralegal at Quinn Law Group (2018-present) – My daily tasks at the office include keeping up with new clients, order medical records, meet clients, set up conference calls, read and interpret medical records, created demand packages, sent out notices when needed, answer phone calls, and translate when need be.
Volunteer & Intern Experience:
• Seashore Garden Living Center Nursing Home – (2010-2014): Activity Coordinator – Setting up daily activities for the patients like screening a movie, having a spa day, playing games, playing instruments and exercising.
• Spring Village Nursing Home – (2012-2013): Volunteer work with any part of the nursing home.
• AtlatiCare medical-legal partnership intern (2017): Worked closely with AtlantiCare and Law offices in the area to provide legal advice to any issues patients are faced with. Completed a lot of research of what a medical-legal partnership entails, created templates for what nurses/doctors will be using for the patients to transfer their information to the attorneys.
Interest/Activities:
• Vice – President of Mock Trial: Mock trial entail getting a fake case for which we have to play either a witness or attorney and compete against different prestigious universities in a mock trial case.
• Member of the Campus Hearing Board: In this position I had to hear different cases for which students broke the school’s rules/policies and depending if they justified their actions, some were faced with repercussions that could include at most, being kicked out of school depending on the severity of their actions.
• Member of the Criminal Justice club: Hear guests speakers, run fundraisers, contribute in getting more members by tabling.
Computer Skills:
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point, using Internet, SPSS and LMS.
