• Collected and analyzed CDC data concerning the Zika virus throughout the United States
• Retrieved data concerning tests from within the virology laboratory (herpes, hepatitis, influenza, etc.) and organized the patient data to be sent to their respective physicians
• Assisted in the actual procedures for the tests for various viruses from within the body

GUTSTEIN LABORATORY- UNIVERSITY OF PITTSBURGH Pittsburgh, PA

• Researched the different types of opioids available and their effects within the body
• Experienced in handling and working with laboratory rats and mice
• Trained to inject rats subcutaneously and intrathecally with various opioids
• Used a Hargreaves test analgesic meter and paw pressure analgesia meter to measure the effect of the drug on the rat
• Learned how to embed, slice, and perform immunohistochemistry with various antibodies and mount fixed tissue
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Imaris and Graphpad Prism computer software to analyze collected data
