Apprentice, Huntington Ingalls incorporated 2018-Currently
My job is to insulate walls, overheads, steam and chill pipes, and tack weld studs. My everyday jobs include things like taking measurements, using standard handheld tools, lifting, and climbing. I also must use critical thinking, while working independently on jobs. Things like communicating effectively with my crew members and supervisor are tasks performed everyday as well. Ma naging projects and overseeing my crew of 12-15 workers are also skills obtained from my time here.

My job was to assist lead mechanic with measuring, cutting with both manual and power tools, maintaining cleanliness. Skills obtained: siding, insulation, framing, and roofing.
