I have strong experience with customer service. As a Server, I am responsible for delivering excellent customer service, customer satisfaction, coordination between the FOH and BOH, and maintaining a clean and inviting dining experience.
This includes informing guests of daily specials and recommending options, taking drink and food orders, serving appetizers and pre-entrees in a timely manner, pre-bussing tables, clearing tables when guests have departed, and setting for new guests. I have experience with Aloha POS, and I understand the importance of order timing and how this affects the BOH.
In addition, I was required to do my own dishes and help maintain a buffet so I have excellent experience with time management in the restaurant whilst attending my customers.

This job exposed me to a stressful environment accompanied with specific tasks and performances to complete as quickly as possible. I was eventually promoted to being the restaurant’s team trainer and I trained in new employees with patience and accuracy.

The skills this position required included: speed, accuracy, memorization, friendliness, teamwork, attentiveness, and communication.

This job also gave me extensive time to work on my customer service because I was constantly critiqued on it by my superiors and tested on such. The skills I acquired at this job have been applied not only in my everyday life but also at my current places of employment and future ones.

Being in this position my people skills were tested to their limits as I was required to attend business meetings, return phone calls, socialize with potential business prospects, and reach out to clientele with marketing tactics.
I entered in extensive amounts of information into computer programs and software allowing the company to organize our customers while reaching out to new ones. It was my job to act as a receptionist and resource for clients to reach to when they needed to access information or have their questions answered.
In addition I was eventually promoted to office manager and the director of marketing. I was given new responsibilities including: designing marketing tactics following company guidelines and reaching out to the public through social media platforms, communication with clientele and informing them on company policies and information, keeping records of office sales and numbers to inform headquarters on, and directors coworkers based on my social media tactics or other tasks given by my superiors in order to keep the office running smoothly.

I attended high school Rogers Minnesota where I took challenging college level courses, in addition to the high school requirements, since my sophomore year- giving myself a bigger challenge each year.
While taking academic courses I managed to accompany my peers in extracurricular activities such as speech, debate, volleyball, Leos club, and National Honor Society. I graduated with a 3.6 GPA in the class of 2017.

January 2015- May 2017
I enrolled in PSEO courses through North Hennepin for three years while attending high school allowing me to complete future college requirements. In addition I had the opportunity to get a year ahead with the extra credits I was earning at the time.
