Translated into Japanese, this article, exposing genocide committed during the 1948 civil war on the South Korean island of Cheju-do (now known as Jeju), was presented at an international symposium devoted to the massacre held on Cheju-do August 21-22, 1998.
• The above article, under the title “International Conference Reawakens Nightmares of 1948 Cheju-do Civil War,” was published on the Korea WebWeekly Seoul website, and under the title “The 1948 Cheju-do Civil War,” it was featured on the Korea WebWeekly U.S. website.
• The same article is now available as an Amazon Kindle ebook, The 1948 Jeju Civil War, with five rare scholarly articles about the genocide, several never before published in English.
