Responsible for providing direction and supervision on all MEP functions for a JV (Greenland USA/Forest City Ratner Companies) in the development and construction of 15 Hi-Rise Residential buildings located on 22 acres in downtown Brooklyn. Specific responsibilities include selecting MEP Consulting Firms, CM/GC/Subs, negotiating consultant Fees & contracts, proposal review, cost management, assist with GMP, scope, bid leveling & value engineering. Additional responsibilities include attending project meetings to provide construction updates and provide critical project information and direction to meet budgets and schedules, oversee and provide supervision at all project & MEP site meetings including all site utility coordination and sub-contractor selections for ConED Vaults, DEP water & sewer connections, and FDNY fire service connections, MEP coordination, shop drawing review, RFI’s and Change Order review and approval, recommending design changes to increase efficiency, reduce cost and improve on
Constructibility, leading all project Commissioning Activities.

Responsible for the day to day operations of starting up and maintaining a small MEP Consulting Engineering/Construction Management Firm including Business Development & Marketing, generating proposals, client management & development, attending owner/architect kick–off and design meetings, code review, load letter requests, MEP utility room space allocation, HVAC systems recommendations to owners/architects, project management, MEP/HVAC Systems design, project coordination, site visits/surveys, load calculations & HVAC Systems layout utilizing AutoCAD MEP 2014, LEED project credentialing via online project registry, Construction Administration including weekly construction meetings, submittals, shop drawing review & approval.
