Seeking Volunteer Mentors to work with refugee youth!

The Refugee Youth Mentorship Program (RYMP) purpose is to foster a sense of self, establish a deeper connection to the Tucson community, and support youth on their quest to become capable, independent and well-rounded adults.

This program matches mentors with refugees 15-24 years old, and together they work towards goals related to vocational advancement, educational success, or community participation.

Mentorship enriches the lives of both the mentee and mentor. To ensure that the program requirements are being upheld below are the commitments that the mentor must agree to before being enrolled in the program and matched with a mentee.

I agree to attend the mentor training and program kickoff event (where I will be matched with my mentee).
I agree to obtain a fingerprint clearance card.
I agree to work with my mentee to set a SMART goal that he/she can achieve in 4 months.
I agree to meet with my mentee for 4-5 hours a month. We encourage meeting weekly.

Get involved, make a difference, become a mentor today!
