I am currently a senior at Northwestern University majoring in Radio, Television, and Film and minoring in both Business Institutions and Economics. For as long as I can remember, I have been intrigued with the entertainment, content creation, and cinema and television production. My academic work and extracurricular experiences have solidified these interests and I would love to have the opportunity to learn more about this industry!
Through my experiences, I have garnered certain valuable skills which will be useful as an intern. Over the past three years, I have interned at diverse companies including a startup in South Africa, a jewelry company in Chicago, a healthcare consulting company, and most recently a production company in NYC. This past summer, I worked alongside producers, crew members, production managers, and talent for the production of an unscripted television show which is now streaming on Facebook. While on set, I was constantly making myself proactive and anticipating how I can be beneficial those around me whether it be simply straightening up the P.O. or conducting research on potential talent. While, I enjoyed my time working at this production company, I am eager to gain more experience working in the entertainment industry. Additionally, on campus, I’ve held executive roles in student organizations. For instance, as Marketing Director for TAMID Group, I’ve led an online awareness campaign which has resulted in 8x membership growth. As a personal hobby, I’ve created and run an Instagram Meme page for Northwestern which has acquired over 4k follower in less than 10 months.
As I wrap up my studies at Northwestern, I would love nothing more than to work at a Chicago-based company. I am a quick learner and as radio, television, film student, I am frequently working on set for student films and or creating my own, so I am experienced and motivated by the fast-paced and collaborative nature of production.
