Girls Who Code: Completed a selective programming immersion program, learning several languages and basic robotics. Paired with a business professional mentor, meeting weekly. Created a baking tool website that calculates alternate amounts of ingredients based on user input.
Girls Write Now Mentee: Selected 2018-2019 school year mentee for the Digital Media Mentoring Program. Paired one-on-one with a digital media professional; creatively transforming writing into digital art. Also consists of monthly workshops taught by graduate students at the Parsons School of Design, and publishing work in an annual anthology. Chosen to write an article that was featured on social media and the website homepage.
Writopia Lab Service Trip to For His Children, Quito: Took part in a selective week-long trip to Quito, Ecuador, mentoring orphans at For His Children in reading and writing English.
Writopia Lab Instructor Assistant: Assistant for creative writing workshops. Helped children ages 6-9 write short stories and poems and played writing-based games to engage creativity.
Kumon Instructor: Assisted children of all ages in reading, grammar, and math skills.
Intern at the Drukier Institute for Children’s Health: Mentored by Dr. Preetha Balasubramanian. Assisted in various lupus nephritis urine analysis experiments. Flow cytometry samples conducted were used in the three-week research culmination. Also learned western blotting, PCR analysis, and more.

Co-Founder of the Club of Developing Engineers: Leader of one of of the school’s only coding clubs, founded after completing Girls Who Code. The club is focused on teaching and mentoring students in all grades in coding Python and Java.
Speech Team Captain: Captain of the high school speech team in all events; competing in national tournaments and tripled the team size, individually mentoring each novice.
