As a server, I was responsible for providing exceptional customer service by seating guests, taking orders, serving beverages and meals, busing tables, and helping at the host stand in a high turnover dining room. I was required to memorize the menu including the 100’s of shake flavor combinations, keeping the restaurant and my work station clean, and working as a team with my co-workers to take care of customer needs.
Fry Cook/Dishwasher

As a fry cook, I was responsible for all foods that were cooked in the fryer including chicken tenders, french fries, fish fillets, etc. I was responsible for following standards for quality control and on occasion had to accommodate special orders. In addition to the fry station responsibilities, I was required to keep my work stations clean. I also maintained the dish washing area by cleaning dishes, trays and equipment.

For several summers I have worked with my neighbors to care for their yards. I cut the grass, mulched the beds and tended to weeds.
Community Service
In my four years in high school I have completed over 110 hours of community service work. Said work includes time spent with Feed My Starving Children, Youth Ministry events, soup kitchens, hurricane relief packaging, and fundraising events for non-profit organizations.
Education
I am currently a Senior at Huntley High School
I will graduate in May, 2019
I will be attending Iowa State University in the Fall, majoring in Biology and Pre-Veterinary Medicine.
Additional Information
I am an honor and advanced placement student at Huntley High School. I am a member of the National Honor Society, the Huntley High School Marching Band, Jazz Band and the Saxophone Quartet. I am looking for a full or part time job for the summer, where I can work with and gain experience with the care and handling of all types of animals.
