ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE _
Capstone Project: Knee Brace for Therapy Horse, Binghamton, New York Fall 2018- Spring 2019 Design Engineer
Consulted with clients at Fargnoli Farms and collaborated with interdisciplinary fields such as Biomedical Engineering in order to develop a brace mechanism which stabilizes the bowing of a horses leg and prevents further strain on internal tendons.
Performed physical measurements of the horses leg and developed engineering sketches and drawings of the final product using PTC Creo.
Conducted a 3-D printing process based on the developed designs and created the hard-supportive cast for the brace mechanism.
Presented the final product to a panel of experienced engineers and delivered the brace mechanism to the client which optimized comfort and reduced overall strain on the leg.

Automatic Page Turner, Binghamton, New York Spring 2018
Design Engineer
Researched and designed an efficient automatic page turner for musicians based on improvement of existing marketed designs.
Developed CAD drawings and design assembly models for the product using PTC Creo and analyzed the stress and strain of each part using the ANSYS software.
Presented a 52-page final portfolio encapsulating all drawings of every individual and industry part used, analysis diagrams checking for failure and the conclusive evaluation of data.

Hackathon, Binghamton, New York Spring 2018
Team Leader
Worked in partnership with four other team members in a 24-hour challenge to develop an environmentally friendly mechanism that responded to both human and remote-controlled stimulation.
Created an automated rotational server with an attachable waste option controlled by both light detection and button controls.
Presented the final product to a panel of five executives as well as an audience for analysis and judgement based on creativity, usefulness, relevance to the theme, and innovation.

Landing Gear for Airplane, Binghamton, New York Fall 2017
Design Engineer
Created CAD sketches and drawings of each part for landing gear of an airplane and performed static stress-strain analysis on the assembled mechanism using ANSYS.
Utilized Creo PTC to further create a timed dynamic system and analyzing the fatigue on each part due to continuous movement.
Presented at weekly meetings with mentors for project progress reports and discussed critique for improvement at each milestone.
Produced a final portfolio for the project including all sketches, drawings, analysis, and conclusions made throughout the project.
