EMPLOYMENT
? Counsellor at Rideau Tennis Club/Sports Center (Children’s Tennis Fun Camp): July - August, 2017, 2018, 2019. Lead on tennis instruction during on-court portion of camp. Led children, aged 3-6, through a series of activities including on-court tennis games and park recreation field games. Other duties/ responsibilities included: supervision during snack, lunch break, pre-camp care and after-camp care, communicating with parents, providing camper evaluations, administrative paperwork, providing first aid and medical treatment when needed, ensuring all equipment on and off court was set up properly and safely, providing proper technical tennis instruction and feedback to campers on how to improve their overall play and basic athleticism while having fun.
? Counsellor In-Training, Rideau Tennis Club (Children’s Tennis Fun Camp): July - August, 2015, 2016. Assisted the head counsellor and tennis instructor; carried out a variety of activities with children, aged 4-12, including on court instruction; developed recreational field and fun games. Other responsibilities included supervision during swimming, lunch, snack time and after camp pick up times, set up/take down of camp equipment and materials; instructing children on proper technical tennis skills and providing basic pointers on how to improve their games while enjoying the sport.
