Profile:
A committed and hardworking Sheffield Hallam University graduate. Experienced in working efficiently to deadlines and leading group projects. A creative problem solver who is always committed to the task in hand and will maintain a high standard throughout. Warm, welcoming, and always on hand to help, going the extra mile for other’s needs.
Skills:
• Committed: Through running my own blog: B------------, which posts reviews/opinion pieces that are both topical and enjoyable, I have grown my experience by committing to keep a constant flow of content on the site. A practice I have also strengthened on my YouTube channel: BurtonReviews, and my monthly podcast TheBurtonStreamPodcast on K------------.
• Team Work: Through many projects at University, I have learned how to best be an effective member of a team, to complete tasks given to me at the highest standard, and how to improve on my work through the suggestions my team give me, as well as supporting them through their work too.
• Leadership: I created and ran a board games society in university where I got to develop and strengthen my team leading skills as I organised each session planning who was going, where it would be held and what games will be played.
• High Standard in Work Ethic: I maintain a high standard in my weekly YouTube channel, making sure every video is better than the last to raise the quality of the videos every week. The same can be said of my articles.
• Communication: I developed my professionalism and communication skills as a school ambassador as I represented my secondary school at many visits to primary schools across the area. I also worked at a uniform pop-up shop, this sharpened my communication skills as I had to effectively help multiple groups of shoppers through the uniform buying experiance at once at times.
• Creativity: I have strengthened my creativity through writing many entertaining and informing articles on my blog, as well as both capturing and editing videos for my YouTube channel. I also created a 30 hour+ game for the society to play. The game adapted to peoples choices and I had to constantly develop and augment the game to their needs as it progressed. For a module at university I and a friend also created a whole issue of an original magazine about UK cosplay, writing the articles and designing all of the pages.
