During my community college career, I focused on not only preparing for upper-division success but planned for my future career in advance by working on myself as a person, without neglecting my grades as a student.

Knowing that my ultimate is to be an art museum curator, I enrolled in many communication studies classes that focus on speech.

I found it vital to improve my oral presentation skills, especially when my career will depend on relaying occasionally complex information to strangers daily. Because of my speech classes, that have included oral interpretation, public speaking, and interpersonal communication, I could hone in my vocal range and delivery, the organization of my speech, how to connect with people to make their experience more meaningful, and to portray the right emotion in connection to the art being presented. Besides my college workload and day job.

By deciding to take my art history major prerequisites in my last semester at Irvine Valley, I am making calculated measures to ensure that I will retain all the art history information I have learned and can build upon that knowledge in University with no interruptions of irrelevant classes in between.

Starting January 2020 I will have full time availability. How I differ from other applicants is that I have unmatched commitment to producing the best work I possibly can, my passion for art history, and my extreme willingness to improve my skills and learn. to schedule an Interview please email me at ------------(preferred) or call me at------------
