WORKING EXPERIENCES and SCHOOL PROJECTS:

• Autonomous toy Car: A processor (MyRio) was programmed to read sensors to autonomously navigate a car around a track. PID controllers and Feedback loops were used to improve the system response.
• Coating effect on a crossflow heat exchanger: This project investigated the transient and steady state responses of internal fluid flow cooling when applying different coatings on a cross flow heat exchanger. The purpose of this project was to mimic an automobile’s cooling system.
• Seat sensor system: The developed program records and transmits the occupancy of seats to multiple clients simultaneously. The system, using a set of IR transmitter/receiver sensors installed in the seats, transmits the occupancy data to an Arduino Uno which compiles and sends the information to an Android application via Bluetooth.
? Head Lifeguard and Lifeguard, Purdue Recreation Center, January 2018 - August 2019
Responsibilities: Oversaw and managed facility operations and lifeguard staff.
Supervised lifeguard staff to ensure all rules and regulations of the facilities are adhered to; assured all on-duty staff were equipped to act immediately and appropriately towards guaranteeing the safety of patrons; provided emergency care and treatment as required; and submitted shift reports detailing staffing schedules and any onsite incidents.
Achievement: Learned how to independently resolve issues and emergency situations calmly and effectively. Maintained a good physical condition and professional practices – safety, alertness, dependability, responsibility, initiative, and good judgement. Received the Headguard of the Summer Award (2019)

Responsibilities: Aided the pre-screening application process for low-income families to provide free energy saving installations; assisted case officers auditing the applicants’ homes in Harlem and Bronx, New York City
