Work Reference Letter
January 17, 2019
To whom it may concern,
I am writing in support of Melissa Bailey. I have know Melissa since December 2016, when she began substituting at the Manchester Elementary School where I have worked as a Special Education Technician since August 2004. Melissa has substituted for me and many other ed techs on many occasions. I have always received glowing feedback from colleagues and students. Melissa is quick to offer student support and has consistently been flexible, articulate and compassionate. She has a quiet, laid back way about her and does not fluster easily. Melissa has developed rapport with students and staff. I have experience with being an ed tech in a classroom with Melissa as the substitute teacher, as well. I have observed her manage difficult situations in the class and saw her successfully attempt to stay true to the teacher's lesson plans. It has been my experience that Melissa is a dependable, reliable, and caring professional. I believe she would be an asset to your school.

Please let me know if additional information is needed.

Sincerely,

Katherine Stetson-Reed, Special Education Technician II
