Professor: The Great Composers of the twentieth century, A Research and Rehearsal Project
N?ew York Conservatory for the Dramatic Arts Fall 2018

I wrote and developed a research and rehearsal project for the incoming freshman at the New York Conservatory for the Dramatic Arts which pertained to some of the most influential composers of the theatre cannon from the twentieth and twenty first centuries. The goals involved:
*Emerging with an in depth understanding of a major Broadway composer
*Cultivating substantive and creative research tools and methods to be used throughout the students academic and professional careers
*Transforming data collected into a creative, independent project wherein which students integrated the academic research done, musical numbers learned, and pulled from his/her/their own idiosyncratic talents to tell a unique story about a composer.

Professor of Theatre History New York Conservatory for the Dramatic Arts Fall 2018

Over the course of a semester, I taught a Theatre History class that covered the turn of the twentieth century through today. In order to be
successful in any field, one must have a command of knowledge on its history and context for that history within the world. The class included a collaborative and hands-on approach in order to better engage ?tactile learners.

During the 2018 Congressional race, I lead and trained canvassing operations for the Max Rose campaign in the NY-11 District.

Professor: Musical Theatre Scene Study, N?ew York Conservatory for the Dramatic Arts
Fall 2018-2019
I taught an acting class called M?usical Theatre Scene Study?. Each student was assigned a scene and we coached them in class. We focused on a variety of technical approaches and the students were required to be both fully present in and rehearse the work we had done. When students were not on working their scenes, they were required to follow along in the script so that we, as a class, continued to work on script analysis. They were expected to be receptive and maintain a positive attitude. As important as being exposed to a variety of acting techniques to enhance storytelling techniques and tools for more deft script analysis, I also

Theatre Teacher: Creating Character, a masterclass?
February 2016 - August 2017
During my time as Nessarose in W?icked? broadway I frequently taught, on a near weekly basis, master classes I created for visiting school groups from out of town. Relegated to a three hour period, we deconstructed a play or musical focusing on the question:
w?hat are the necessary elements in creating a dynamic story. We explored the initial processes of building a character and how that character propels the story of the play forward. The students were taught a song ahead of time and I in turn taught them basic staging as a vehicle to bring the character work we had done throughout the class to life.
