I would like to express my immense interest in the position as Content Creation Assistant. It would be a great pleasure to work with a team dedicated to empowering women around the world that love someone suffering from addiction. The opportunity to wake up daily and perform good, life changing work helping women would make every day rewarding and fulfilling. Having personally dealt with loving two people close to me suffering from addiction, I wish I had the support and community that this organization offers.
I performed the social media and marketing (mainly Facebook and Instagram) for two store locations with the Crooked Cup, a coffee shop in Northern Colorado, increasing brand awareness and telling the story of the company. I love social media and building a community of support and commonality where anyone can log in and feel valued and supported. I care deeply about helping people and lending an ear to listen empathetically without judgment. I enjoy creating content, photography and editing photos/videos. It would be a pleasure to mix media content and pictures into the organization's core message and online presence.
Having worked in customer service for seven years, I pride myself in my thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and personabilty. Working in customer service presented many opportunities to make lasting friendships and connections. As a sociology degree graduate, my major involved a lot of research and research reports, which I thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed. I am not familiar with Helpscout; however, I am keen to learn and grow. I would love to grow with the company and will work hard to learn any unfamiliar software systems and company policies.
