CAPSTONE PROJECT: FOOD RESCUE July 2018-May 2019
•A year-long research project of a team of four that studied the role of community kitchens in bridging the gap between food insecurity and food waste.
•Conducted 70+ surveys of community kitchens regarding logistic factors that determine efficiency.
•Produced a map of 120+actively operating kitchens and their service hours, segregated by meal.
•Key insights gained into inefficient location distribution in food insecure regions, scheduling inconsistencies, nutritional limitations of federal grant use and restrictions of volunteer dependency.
•Recommendations proposed through improved scheduling mechanisms and centralization measures to assist resource reallocation.

SANITATION AND WASTE MANAGEMENT IN BARBUDA March-May 2018
•Sought to revitalize the island of Barbuda following the impact of two major hurricanes.
•Explored economic remediation measures through infrastructure restoration and business ventures encompassing eco-tourism, mining and agriculture opportunities.
•Led efforts to improve waste management using sustainable bio-digesters considering technical feasibility and urban zoning efforts.

WATER DEMAND AND SUPPLY IN ISABELA, GALAPAGOS April-May 2018
•Environmental implications of a crowded tourist economy examined in relevance to water supply and demand.
•Explored the balance between the conservationist legal framework that preserves the ecosystem of an economy dependent on ecotourism and negative environmental externalities of tourism.
•Implemented solutions through incentivization- tax credits for private residences to extend maintenance of septic tanks, and subsidies for businesses seeking to desalinate water on the island.

The National Association of Students of Architecture is an association for undergraduate students of architecture in India with 240 university members, hosting annual conventions where students share ideas and participate in a series of competitions.

Annual Nasa Design Competition 2013 | Qualified | Top 60 entries January 2013
•Part of the team that developed a multi-functional hub through architectural and urban zoning means for the university entry of the competition.
•Implemented creative problem-solving to transform a congested trade center in North Madras through multi-story parking and retrofitting buildings that was technically and economically feasible.

•Coordinated a team for the Reuben’s trophy that showcases the curricular work of universities.

•Following a brief to maximize the use of steel, collaboratively designed an exposed steel Spiritual+Cultural Centre.
•Solved design problems arising from combining a Brutalism-inspired modern aesthetic with ancient Hindu concepts to create a landmark structure.
