As a Film and Video Studies Major at George Mason University, I believe I have the skills you are seeking.
For the past few months, I’ve worked as a volunteer radio disc jockey at WGMU. I created, prepared, and hosted an hour and twenty-minute long music rotation show every week intended for live internet radio broadcast. Through this experience, I developed strategies for efficiency and on-the-spot problem solving. Additionally, I held a seasonal job in January of last year as a warehouse picker at Radial, storing and organizing supplies for the Michaels Corporation. As a warehouse picker, I developed time management and communication skills.
I have had an interest in creative writing since I was a child. In middle school, I ran a comic book club where me and a handful of friends would write and develop short comics. I have also written short stories and screenplay ideas. For a screenwriting class, I am in the process of developing a feature length screenplay. For a history class, we are in the process of developing a collaborative podcast where each of us will write scripts and participate in its production.
