Varsity Cheerleading Squad, Social Leader


Qualified for Varsity squad all 3 years. As Social Leader I had a responsibility to bring the Westwood Cheer Squad, including Junior Varsity and Varsity, together for team-building activities. Coordinated events each month for the Varsity and JV squads to mix and bond. Found opportunities for the teams to jointly support the community. Performed cheers, dance routines, and spirit-building activities for Westwood sports events. Participated in and sometimes led school pep-rallies and special choreographed performances.

Pacesetters


Service-oriented organization. Girls' leadership club dedicated to community service and sponsors of social functions within Westwood High School and the community.

Diamond Dolls, President​


Held an officer position for 2 years supporting the Diamond Doll organization to recruit and organize volunteer supporters of the Westwood Baseball team ensuring each Varsity player had an assigned Diamond Doll supporter to prepare pre-game goodie bags and cheer them on during games.

Younglife, Student Leader


Actively participated in the Younglife organization, founded to introduce adolescents to Christian values and help them grow in their faith. Community gathering each week 2 hrs/wk for club and 2 hrs/wk for Campaigners, a smaller gathering of fellow female members for a personal bible study group.

Varsity Track


Qualified for Varsity Westwood track team running 100-meter hurdles. Practiced with team 8 hrs/wk.

Certified in CPR and First Aid. Hold long standing relationships with 6 families for babysitting services on available weeknights and weekends. Apply creative techniques to appropriately engage children from ages 6 mos to 13 yrs.

Golf Course Beverage Cart Person

Independently managed the snack counter on Sundays and occasionally run beverage cart service selling beverages and snacks to customers on the golf course.

Summer 2018- 2019

Worked in customer service supporting event coordination and ensuring customers’ personalized needs were met regarding dry stack storage of personal recreational boats.

Lifetime Fitness Gym

June 2017 – July 2017

Camp counselor for the Lifetime Fitness 2017 summer camp where I interacted daily with children ages 5 to 13. Served as counselor, activity lead, and lifeguard.

Volunteered for fundraising activities staffing the concessions stand, helping with t-shirt sales, and sorting team equipment for games to raise funds for the Miracle League, a baseball league for special needs children.

Caraway Elementary School

Ronald McDonald House 2019

Made cookies for families staying at the Ronald McDonald house. Made the families cards in hopes they would know they had my support.

Posada Esperanza 2019

Woman and Children’s home for immigrants. Brought food to the shelter and played with the children while the moms worked.

Blankets for Project Linus 2018

Made blankets for the homeless in Austin during the winter.
