My experience designing women’s ready to wear has covered a wide range of customers and garments including dresses, outerwear, eveningwear, and sportswear. I have experience with traditional fashion illustration techniques, Adobe Suite, Yunique PLM, patternmaking, draping, and textile design. I additionally have experience designing embroidery using traditional and digital mediums for creation on a Tajima TEMX-C1501. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Fashion and Textile Design from the College of Textiles at North Carolina State University.

My primary interests are in the creation of mood boards, illustration of garments, and silhouette design. I embrace teamwork with a diverse group to create a cohesive collection of designs, and I believe that collaboration is a necessity for a successful company. I view new challenges as a way improve my knowledge of my field, and I look forward to sharing my experiences in the future.

Express, INC – Manhattan NY (March 2019-Now)
Assistant Designer
Designed and created digital tech flats for use by factories. Created and kept up to date tech packs for seasonal garments. Communicated with production to keep track of bills of materials and garment samples. Assisted head designers to execute creative vision.

Jump Design Group – Manhattan NY (March 2019)
Freelance Assistant Designer
Created and organized PLM files for utilization by production and sourcing teams for women’s dresses and pants. Designed and arranged presentation boards for usage in showroom presentations.

Oscar de la Renta – Manhattan NY (November 2018 - December 2018)
Freelance Assistant Designer
Oversaw the creation of couture embroidery samples from in house atelier. Worked closely with designer to ensure on time delivery of three gowns before runway show. Sourced patterns and garments from local vendors.


Rosie Assoulin – Manhattan NY (February 2018)
Design Intern
Worked with design team to ensure quality construction prior to Fall/Winter 2018 showcase. Assisted with sourcing garment closures from local manufacturers. Dressed, styled, and organized models for showcase presentation.

Freelance Assistant Designer
Assembled floral textures and embroidery following mood board themes. Retrieved garments from sample makers. Took part in dress creation and mood board conception.
