I am a passionate, positive, hardworking. I studied law at Durham University, in the UK. I possess a B1 diploma in French from AllianceFrançaise and Durham University Centre for Foreign Language. I love children and enjoy being around and helping teach young minds to flourish. Knowledgeable in teaching profession and child care. Proficient in exercising authority with honesty and integrity. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publisher.

Employment History?
Durham University Law Pro bono [2016 – 2017]
As a member of the Durham University Pro bono society, I worked with a charity called Families in Care. The charity organisation focused on children and families in need of legal assistance. The pro bono team and I assisted families and children involved in child protection services. We engaged with children and their guardians frequently to provide a safe and sheltered environment for the children and their guardians.


Oxfam Charity Work [2017]
I worked in a charity bookshop and clothing store, where I was often in charge of the till. Communicating daily with customers and building a good rapport with the clients. Together with the rest of the store’s staff, we raised money each month to help eradicate poverty in countries such as Iraq, Syria, Ethiopia and South Sudan.


Aluko & Oyebode – Internship [2017]
In Aluko & Oyebode, one of the top law firms in Nigeria, I worked in a few sectors in the firm. One was family law, where I was able to learn the use of law in family and children matters. I also learnt some essential principles of intellectual property and family law for legal practice.


Durham University Peer Mentor [2015 – 2017]
I mentored freshmen students in Durham University and guided them on any difficulties they encountered in their courses and throughout their time as first year students. For the role, I was trained on how to work with young minds, communication skills, welfare and organisation.


Durham University International Student Ambassador [2016 – 2017]
As a student ambassador, I represented the University in a professional and positive manner. Thus, I interacted frequently with prospective students and catered to their needs, including coordinating and carrying out regular campus tours and being available to answer any questions or concerns the students may have


Durham University Law School Student Ambassador [2016]
I was responsible for acquainting prospective students and their parents to the Law School in the University. I was asked to present a speech to promote the Law School. I also handled all the questions or issues each student had personally.


School Teacher’s Assistant [2013]
I worked in the Lagoon Primary School Nigeria as a school teacher’s substitute/ assistant. I helped with preparing and impacting lesson plans daily; administering student activities and managing student behaviour; distributing learning aids to students; and maintaining an effective teacher-student relationship.



Additional Roles and Achievements

Community Development Service [2012]
I was part of a team that worked together to bring up Sub-Urban Community in Lagos, Nigeria. I oversaw the supervision of the children in the area, coming up with homework and activities to help broaden the minds of the young ones in the community. I created lesson plans for the children on a daily basis and taught the children a variety of subjects at a healthy pace. Through the team’s tireless commitment, we were able to aid in the improvement of the environment. Afterwards, I received a certificate for a job well done.
