A hardworking second year fashion merchandising student, with a focus in buying and a sustainability minor. Seeking a fashion merchandising internship to give me more insight on the fashion industry, and to help me learn about sustainable pracitices. Education
LIM College 2022 Currently a freshman at LIM College as a fashion merchandising major with a concentration in buying.
Relevant Course Work I am currently taking a sustainability course, teaching me about sustainable practices from production to finished good treatment. I am also currently enrolled in a retailing class, showing me many different ways to appeal to the consumer, and giving me much more insight to the different parts of retail. In high school, I took college and received college credit for photography and sewing classes. In photography I learned Photoshop, how to set up a studio and camera handling. In sewing classes I learned everything from how to sew a garment to sketching and creating my own patterns and clothing.
Work Experience
LIM College Teaching Assistant Sales Associate (June- August 2019)
� Supervised group of 15 students and assisted the professor with staying on schedule and remaining organized
� Applied my knowledge of the fashion industry to assist students with styling and buying courses.
FabScrap Intern Sales Associate (May- August 2019)
� Stocked merchandise, assisted customers with textile and sustainability inquiries.
� Collected and curated content for social media.
� Reuse coordinator working with groups of volunteers to ensure an enjoyable and educational fabric sorting session.
TJ MAXX Sales Associate (September- February 2015-2016)
� Stocked merchandise, assisted customers, and helped with displays along with answering customer inquiries to provide an enjoyable retail.
� Stocked displays to appeal to the consumer.
Relevant Skills & Experience
Computer Skills
� Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, which I used when I was a band photographer to create ads promoting the band and ticket sales.
Volunteer Experience
� Model dresser for Australian Women�s wear (NYFW Volunteer), I dressed a model in 9 looks which helped me with time management and paying attention to detail.
