• Staff the Bankruptcy Self-Help Desk in the Federal Courthouse – meet with walk-in clients to go over Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 Bankruptcy petitions, answer questions on the bankruptcy process, prepare Court motions with the assistance of Supervising Attorney
• Perform legal research for cases related to employment discrimination in low-wage jobs including preparing a wage claim for the Labor Commissioner’s Office
• Track local and state legislation related to issues of women and girls’ rights
• Conduct phone intakes for new clients in the Women and Girls Rights’ Project
• Visit Department of Social Services Office to advocate on behalf of individuals seeking assistance with public benefits

• Assisted Managing Attorney in the Family Law Unit –conducted legal research, interviewed clients, drafted court motions, obtained documents for discovery, filed and organized case documents through the online Legal Server system.
• Brief Advice Clinic Intake Volunteer - met with prospective clients each month to fill out intake forms and determine eligibility for legal aid services based on poverty guidelines.
