• Specialization??? :? One-year diploma in Sports Coaching in Archery from NSNIS (SAI) securing 73% marks in 1st Division with overall first distinction.
• Attended 5th World Archery Coaching Seminar in Italy in 2009.

Achievements as an Archer
• I began archery in 1995 and since then, I have participated in various National and International tournament as an Archer and later as a coach in both Recurve and Compound events. I won bronze medal in Asia cup, medals in Senior National Championships, all India Inter-University Archery & Junior/Sub-Junior National Archery Championships
• I was Team Captain of Senior Punjab State & G.N.D.U. Amritsar Team.


• Extra-Curricular Activities?: President Awardees’ in Scouting (1999).

Work Experience:
? I served as chief Archery coach with Punjab team & Punjabi University Patiala since Aug2007 to Feb,2019.
? I worked as an Archery expert in Indonesia under three-month contract for Olympic Solidarity development program in 2010.
? I worked with Indian National Team since 2013 to Aug,2018 as senior. During that tenure I had played an Important role to train the players and also did accompany Indian Teams to many International tournaments, more information is mentioned below.
? My personal trainee and compound archer V Jyothi Surekha have been picked up for the
Arjuna Award in 2017, Abhishek Verma and Rajat Chohan was presented Arjuna Award in2014

& 2016.

? I have been awarded as the Best Compound Archery Coach and 2nd best coach in
Recurve by Archery Association of India in November, 2014-15 and 2016.








Awards: -

? I was honored with the Vice Chancellor's medal for best performance by a coach in past five
consecutive years at Punjabi University, Patiala, in 2014.

and won Medals. Their names include Trisha Deb, Gagandep Kaur, Harwinder Singh, Parveena, Prabhjot Kaur, Sangampreet Singh and Sukhchain Singh, Jyoti Kumari,Ramandeep Kaur, Vinayak Verma, Sehajpreet Kaur,Lalit Jain, Amanjeet Singh, Lovejot Singh, Kawalpreet singh, Supriya, Madhu Vedwan, Inder Verma, Prabhjot Singh, Sunita Rani, Amandeep Kaur, NishaTomar, Gaganjot Kaur, Amarinder Singh, Sukhbir Singh, Parwinder Singh, Harkirat Singh, Gurparkash Singh, Sheeshpal Chopra, Angrez Singh, Vikas Rajan, Simranjeet kaur.

Working as National Archery coach since 2013. I trained Arjuna Awardees- V. Jyothi Surekha, Rajat
Chauhan, Abhishek Verma, Sandeep Kumar and other international medalist like- P.Lily Chanu, Purvasha Sudhir,
Swati Dudhwal,Sunendu, Mrinal Hiwrale, Jayalakshmi Sarikonda,Khushbu Dhayal, Divya Dhyal, Charan Reddy, Gurvinder Singh, Sarvesh Pareek and others who won various Inter-National Medals.

National Achievements: -
** More Than 10 Records and 200 medals in National & All India Inter-University Archery Championships.
** Overall champion in All-India Inter-University Archery Championship from 2008 -2018 continuously.
Improvements in results at Asian Championship :-

? In 2011 Asian Archery Championship we won just single medals and our overall ranking was 9th but in 2017 we won overall runners up trophy with Gold-2, Silver-2. & bronze-1. We improved our scores and ranking a lot.
? If we compare the score of compound men archers in2011 top archer was on rank 7th in Asian Championship shoot 678, now he shoots 709 and the rank is 2nd. Total 31 improvements.
? In team our Men team was on 5th rank with the score of 2005, now we shoot 2115 score and our rank is 2nd. Total 110 improvements.
? In women individual our archer was on rank13th with score 639, now Jyothi Surekha Shoots 703 score and rank is 2nd. Total 64 improvements.
? In Women team our team was on rank 4th with 1917 points, now we shoot 2089 points and rank is 2nd. Total 172 improvements.
? In mix team we were on rank 5th with 1318 points, now we shoot 1412 points and our rank is 1st. Total 94 improvement.
? Women Compound team of Trisha deb, V. Jyothi and Parveena all are my personal students created history after winning 1st gold medal in Asian Championship 2017. Its 1st time in the history of India that all the men compound team members shoots above 700out of 720 and both women Trisha Deb and Jyothi Surekha shoots their life best score and crossed 700 points.
Improvements in results at World championship:-

? In 2013 our top compound men player was on rank 31 now, we jump to 8th position.
? In women archer we were on 15th rank but now we are on 4th.
? In mix team we were on 11th now 3rd.
? In women team our rank was 10th now its 6th.
? World archery championship Rajat Chouhan created history after winning 1st ever individual Silver medalin 2015, Denmark.
? Abhishek Verma created history after winning 1st ever individual gold medal in Archery World Cup in 2015.
? In 2017 Compound Women team created history after winning 1st ever silver medal for India in World Championship in 2017, Mexico.
? 1st time our Indian compound women team is number 1 in world ranking 2018.
? 1st time our mix team ranking is number 1 in world cup and qualifies for final world cup.
? 1st time our mix compound team qualifies for Final World cup and won Silver medal for country and Abhishek Verma and Deepika Kumari won Bronze medal.
