PROFILE
Current student at the University of Kent, seeking a part-time or weekend position to expand my work experience. I am communicative, approachable, observant, and have a flexible timetable. I have been proven to be calm under pressure, and detail-oriented when given personal tasks. I enjoy working in a team and being challenged in a dynamic environment.

WORK AND VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE
Mungo’s Café Catering Staff and Bar Assistant – May 2019 – Present
Working as a staff member at Mungo’s Café and Bistro. Requires confidence and capability along with professionalism, the ability to work well under pressure and as a member of a team, as well as consistently provide excellent customer service.
Whole Foods Market Store Support Team Member — Summer 2018
Worked as cashier and store support team member with Whole Foods Market in Portland, Oregon. Requires adaptability, politeness and amiability, quick thinking, confidence, and the ability to work in a team. Duties included general customer service, processing payments via credit, debit, or cash, with an emphasis on friendliness and positive communication between myself and customers, as well as other team members.
Hostel Receptionist and Maintenance Coordinator — Spring 2017
Worked as a receptionist in a Swiss chalet hostel located in the town of Gryon, which required attentiveness to detail, and being conscientious and respectful with guests. Duties included talking to and welcoming guests and touring them around the area. Responsible to maintain a high standard of cleanliness around the hostel - bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen.
Au pair — August 2016 - April 2017
Worked as an au pair in Chambery, France for eight months. Duties included cooking and food preparation, shopping, taking the children to school, collecting them from school and taking them to various activities around the city. Required patience and communication skills, as they only conversed in French.
Campaign assistant organizer – February - March 2019
Worked as a volunteer to assist a friend and colleague in her campaign for a position with the student union. Worked with a small team of dedicated individuals to create signs, promote via social media, and encourage students to vote in elections.
Sales Assistant — 2013 - Present
Volunteer as a salesperson for an annual Haitian charity fundraiser. Requires making executive pricing decisions, enthusiastically assisting customers, and being thorough and meticulous. Duties include sorting and arranging for display a variety of donated items including books, furniture, jewelry, clothing, and toys.
Child Care Babysitter/Nanny — 2011 - Present
Work as a babysitter and nanny for children aged two to twelve. Includes entertaining, feeding, and putting children to bed. Requires an ability to communicate with both children and adults, as well as responsibility and respect.
Venture Scouts President and Vice President – 2014 – 2016
Held position of Vice President (Secretary) 2014-2015, and President 2015-2016. Requires leadership, interpersonal skills, organization and commitment, and the ability to delegate and coordinate with a committee in order to create a satisfactory experience for all members.

St. Mary’s Academy in Portland, Oregon. Graduated 2016, 4.0 GPA with Honors.

First Aid Training — Red Cross Certification
BSA Venturing Leadership Skills (VLSC) Course. Leadership training through the Boy Scouts of America. Held the position of Vice President for one year, and subsequently as President for one year, of Venturing Crew 351 – Portland, Oregon.
