Freshman at Louisiana State University studying Fashion Design. I graduated from Walter Payton College Prepatory, Chicago, IL (Rated the #1 Public School In America by Niche for 2018). I have attended magnet, private, and many public schools. I have lived all over the United States in rural, urban, and suburban environments, and I have experience interacting with many different groups of people. I have one credit from SAIC in fashion illustration, and have taken a college level design fundamentals class at the Illinois Institute of Art (an 11 week course meant to prepare high school students for a college career studying design). I have taken several classes in all disciplines of art at Marwen, an art school for high school students in chicago.

Work Experience

Intern in the costume department of Chautauqua Theater Company in Chautauqua, NY. (06/2017-08/2017)- I worked in the costume department assisted in the workshop as well as backstage. I did everything from sewing and adjusting garments to running costumes from the shop to the theater and getting actors ready backstage. I have spent two 8 week summers working for this company.

CoFounder and Leader of Green Ribbon Club at WPCP 2016-2018 (mental health awareness)-Teaching students and teachers about mental health disorders and how to understand/interact with those around you who suffer from them

President and Founder of FIDM Fashion Club at WPCP 2016-2018: I introduced this club to my school and plan to pass on the presidency when I graduate. I inform my club members on scholarships in fashion and their opportunities for education. We made and personalized clothing and accessories as well as continued stay updated on and discuss current/past fashion trends.

Payton Organization of Women 2014-2018: This is a club at my school with a weekly meeting, I was present and participatin twice a week. We discussed feminism and related topics. Every year there is a Gender Equality for Teens conference that i always attended.

Costume Crew for WPCP Productions 2016-2018: I worked on the costume crew for a few productions at my high school, preparing costumes before shows, organizing, and assisting backstage.

I assisted Robin Overman with an event at Macy’s in the past year in which I put together outfits for models to exhibit some clothing the store has, steamed and ironed clothing, and made minor adjustments to the garments to ensure their visual impact and fit.
