Helped nurses discharge patients, assisted nurses in helping make beds of nurses, and help visitors navigate around the hospital.
Earned a scholarship because of the volunteer hours that were accumulated.
Intern in Columbus Public Health Neighborhood Health Department May 2017- August 2017
Helped conduct research about the health literacy of Columbus Public Health
Conducted 2 surveys and rated the institution based on how health literate it was
Gave recommendations on how the institution can work to help assist patients with lower literacy levels
Research Assistant in the College of Public Health January 2018- May 2018
Worked under a graduate student conducting sexual health research.
Passed out several surveys and kept track of the answers that the participants gave and made sure that students understood what kind of research was being conducted.

Worked as a camp counselor teaching children between the ages 5-14 how to maintain a healthy lifestyle and different forms of exercise
Wrote out and executed lesson plans daily for children with different educational levels.
