EXPERIENCE
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT INTERN | DELTA SIGMA THETA SORORITY, INC | SEPT 5, 2015 - MAY 2017
During this program I served both as an activity director (Sept 9, 2015-March 12, 2016) and vice president (Sept 9, 2016-March 12, 2017). These positions required me to know the activities that were being taken place within the program, give community service options, be a support for the president, make sure the girls showed up to meetings and events, and send out information to the girls who were not able to attend meetings or events.

During this Freshmen Orientation Program, I introduced incoming freshmen to their new campus so that they would feel comfortable when they they started their first year.

I sang in the youth choir on Sunday’s, at other churches, and at special events.

I was apart of two organizations, SAAS and ASU, while being at SDSU, but I have also performed for various organizations on campus. I have sung and done poetry for SAAS, SAAB, ASU, Campus Curlz and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. I was featured in The Daily Aztec Newspaper Vol.104, Issue 13 (Wed, Nov 8, 2017-Tues, Nov 15, 2017) on a topic about Black Xpression, which is an open mic that is held every Friday in Barrio Logan (2196 Logan Ave) that I have performed various times at.
