In response to your ad for a Landscape Designer, I am submitting my resume for your review and consideration. I hold a bachelor’s degree in digital Techniques for design and Planning and am pursuing my master’s degree in Landscape Architecture at Boston Architectural College.
I am passionate about landscape architecture, and upon successful completion of my bachelor’s degree, I was eager to expand my horizons to pursue an international education in the Landscape Architecture program. I strongly feel that the unique research-oriented approach at your firm will help me acquire knowledge and practically implement the concepts I will learn to support my dream of having a real impact in my hometown of Hyderabad, India by sharing the knowledge with future colleagues and peers. I enjoy living in a green environment full of plants and trees, however, in the modern urban environment in India, the common experience is to see and experience concrete flooring and wooden decking. This provoked me to pursue a graduate degree in landscape architecture at a premier university, because I want to learn how to balance modern living against environmental conservation and historical preservation through sustainable design and education. Landscape Architecture is a profession of merging natural landscape with man-made structures, and the knowledge I will gain at your firm will be inspiring and will help me achieve my dreams.
