My name is Vikrant Muthusamy. I am a music composer and filmmaker. As a music composer, I have scored over 20 short films and composed over 20 original compositions. Additionally, I have experience in writing, directing and editing films.
I recently graduated from UT Austin with degrees in Music Recording Technology and Radio/TV/Film. I composed the original score for a PBS documentary titled Canine Soldiers: The Militarization of Love. The film was directed by Nancy Schiesari, and it originally premiered at the Austin Film Festival during my senior year at UT. I have developed my music production skills under the mentorship of former Walt Disney Records producer Gary Powell.
