• Chosen by the Geography Department in the National University of Ireland, Galway to participate in the ‘Sichuan University Immersion Programme’ in Chengdu, China where I studied environmental change with a group of international students.
• Received an academic entrance scholarship for Maynooth University in 2014.
• Received a certificate of exellence from Naas Christian Brothers School for my Leaving Certificate State Examination results in 2014 including an A in higher level English, Geography and Irish language.
• Completed the Silver Gaisce (Irish President’s) Award.
• Completed grade six in piano and flute with the Royal Irish Academy of Music.

WORK EXPERIENCE
• Irish Language Teacher- Coláiste Lurgan (June, July, August 2013-2019)
• Orienteering Instructor – Coláiste Lurgan, in collaboration with local authorities for the planning of excursions and the production and study of maps of the local area.
(In addition to teaching and orienteering at the college, I was involved with landscaping for the promotional aspects of the business.)
• Planning Assistant - National Roads Design Office, Naas. I worked with Transport Infrastructure Ireland and Kildare County Council in the development of upcoming transportation and road schemes.

• Completed the Leaving Certificate State Examinations in Naas CBS (Christian Brothers School) in 2014 with a total of 530 points out of a possible 600.
• Completed one year of study in Maynooth University covering a range of psychology modules throughout the academic year 2014/15.
• Received a 2:1, second class honors in my undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in the National University of Ireland, Galway, studying Irish and Geography in 2017.
• Completed a Level 5 Master TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) Course with specific qualifications in teaching Business English and young learners.
Fully accredited to prepare students for IELTS (International English Language Testing System) and TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication).

HOBBIES AND INTERESTS
• I was an active member of Scouting Ireland for 12 years and I love outdoor persuits including mountain climbing and water sports. This year I undertook the Camino de Santiago in Spain.
• I was heavily involved in school extra-curricular activities including; the school choir, the maths club, the Irish language club, the prefect programme, the Gaisce (President’s) awards, the school musical and various charity fundraisers.
• I have a strong interest in music and I volunteered to play the piano with Naas Parish Children’s Choir and the Naas Care of the Aged.
• I have been involved with sports teams throughout my life including Naas GAA (Gaelic Athletic Association) and Naas Basketball Club and I have a keen interest in soccer, hurling and swimming.
• I reached the Division 1 County Final playing Gaelic football for Naas GAA Club in 2012 and I have a provincial silver underage medal in basketball.
• I am passionate about the revival of the Irish language and I was heavily involved with the Cumann Gaelach (Irish Society) in the National University of Ireland, Galway, where I was class representative on the committee throughout my undergraduate degree.
