Experience:
- KBTX Broadcasting internship June 2018- December 2018
• Presented broadcasts for a variety of weather events using the green screen.
• Experienced what goes on behind the scenes to create an entertaining and informative broadcast.
• Using the MAX software system, created my own unique graphics to broadcast while presenting
the weather.

• Sent weather broadcasts to KAMU and KTRL for each hour.
• Wrote and recorded my own broadcasts.
- Hurricane Effect on Snowfall in Texas Research Project January 2018- May 2018
• Semester long research project on the impact that hurricanes and cyclones that made landfall in Texas
have on the amount of snowfall that occurs during the winter season.
• Through climatology data from the National Weather Service, we inferred that mid latitude cyclones and
hurricanes that specifically hit Texas do not have a correlation to the amount of snowfall received.
Activities:
- Texas A&M Student Chapter of the American Meteorological Society August 2016 – Present
• Able to hear many influential meteorologists speak about their own experiences and career.
• Held weather discussions weekly over present weather conditions around the United States.
• Created current forecasts slides for the College of Geoscience.
- Aggie Storm Chasers Club August 2016 – Present
• Chased and forecasted influential storms in the Texas area.
- Gamma Phi Beta Sorority August 2015 - Present
• Historian/Assistant Social Media
• Recruitment Day Chair- Led a group of 15 people in planning a round of recruitment.
• Raised over several hundred thousands of dollars for our philanthropy Girls on the Run.
- The Big Event April 2016/ April 2017/ April 2018
• All day volunteer event designed to serve the community by helping with different tasks.
