National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine, UCLA Summer ‘06
• Participated in a Forum meant to give exposure to the field of Medicine and heard many guest speakers (mostly doctors).
• Visited other Campuses, toured their premed labs and worked in groups (i.e. practiced reading x-rays, inserting an IV needle in an arm, effective sewing)
• Collaborated and acquired research to form the final group presentation.

Edmondson Fellowship: Keck School of Medicine, USC Summer ‘08
• Worked with Oncologists conducting Cancer research.
• Helped create solutions and agents, and injected them into mice followed by recording of results and effects.
• Cut sections.
• Created and displayed comprehensive presentation on projects and types of cancers/tumors studied.

Internship at the Pasadena 9th Circuit Court of Appeals Spring ‘10
• Responsibilities: Assisting head Tech support with tasks such as replacement of microphones, soldering, setting up nationwide video conferencing, camera replacement and adjustment, stripping wires, creating new telephone jacks and replacing old ones, and recording court cases then uploading them to the courthouse website.
• Interacted with people daily, such as the supervisor to resolve tech issues.

Employment:
Assistant to Lawyer John Freeman, (Altadena) Summer ‘06
• Responsibilities: organized/filed various client documents such as depositions and then delivered them to prospective clients. Also made copies in large numbers.

Crew & Security – Renaissance Faire Spring ’16 & Summer ’17 & Spring ‘18
• Helped set up the fair at the Santa Fe Dam. Dug 6 foot holes for placing telephone poles in, hauled lumber, moved and placed stacks of hay (50 – 80 lbs), assembled horse corralling. Also tore down the fair after the last weekend.
• Worked as security and in first aid as a medic while the fair was underway. Catered to guests, ensured no entry of dangerous/illicit materials, assessed and cared for ill and/or injured patrons.

Skills/Personal Accomplishments:
• Completed Team Crossfit Elite Fitness Bootcamp (6 week program) 5 times
• Savvy with word processors and computers in general
