• Performed literature reviews for topics needed to update the NHSN manual. Participated in preparation and planning for the NHSN annual training. Reviewed and edited training modules for accuracy. Learned about NHSN definitions and how health-care associated infection (HAI) surveillance is performed. Participated in case-reviews to identify qualifications for hospital acquired infection.
IRC WASH
Research assistant intern Summer 2018
• Analyzed data for IRC Wash based on JMP WASH data for SDGs by 2030. Produced costing details for Self-supply, a supplementary water service in Ethiopia, and predicted costs of reaching the SDG goals. Produced a working-paper for IRC that I was able to use as a master’s thesis. Wrote blogs and gave presentations about research.
Myriad Genetics Laboratory
Data technician May 2016 – March 2017
• Analyzed hereditary genetic results of patients, including highly sensitive information that required extreme speed and accuracy of data analysis. Sorted patient charts based on the type of test that was run. Trained co-workers on data technician duties. Attended cross-training in order to become knowledgeable about laboratory procedures.

• Led and organized the certified nursing assistant program, hired and trained faculty, in charge of marketing, which included making all advertising and business relationships in the community. Ran the social media sites. Registered and dealt with students face-to-face, and mastered crisis management and high-stress situations. Was in charge of scheduling, this included class for the students and schedule for the faculty.
