Objective
My objective is to provide positive customer service, as well as my legal education to your firm. I will apply my personal work ethic and experience, as well as my educational skills to my career.
Experience
Assistant Manager at Kid to Kid (Resale) August 1, 2015 – March 20, 2020
n My overall position consisted of assisting the owners, Ken and Kristen, with running a resale store location off of The Summit Village.
n I handled computer tasks such as Pay Roll, Sales Reports, and Inventory Journal Adjustments. Also, I would send emails every Monday when we needed more product such as clothing to stock the store racks and work supplies/cleaning supplies. I kept a personal inventory of what sizes we had available for our store through Microsoft Excel, as well as a Wait List for customers. We would call them as soon as the product was available for them (i.e. a double stroller comes into the store. I call the customer who inquired about one a week ago and let her know it’s available and I would hold it for her if she likes.)
n I have customer service experience through resale. I would either have the task of checking in the customer who was selling the clothes, checking out the customer on the register, and buying in the clothing and products the customer would sell. Each task involved me politely speaking with the customer and addressing any questions or concerns they had on how the resale process worked. Our main goal was to have as much customer contact as possible so that they left the store satisfied. We offered cash or 20% more in the in-store credit if they chose to shop with us.
-As a sorter we would take down the customer’s personal information, look through the clothing and such, then pass off what we deemed re-sellable to the buyer.
-As a buyer, I would look up the retail prices of the clothing and product, formulate a cheaper price to sell it, and when all was done give the offer to the customer.
-As a cashier, I would reduce lines and up-sell the purchases with suggestions of more product that would compliment the customers selection (i.e. shoes for the dress, bows with the outfit) Promotion would also be added mid-conversation.
n As an assistant manager, I would make sure tasks were getting done by the employees, I would address any customer disputes, pass any complaints or concerns from the employees to the owners, make sure the store was well organized, all clothing racks were well stocked and made it a goal to keep my staff and customers comfortable and happy.
