Work Experience
Financial Examiner
10/16/2018 – Present – OBXtek Inc.
This position is a continuation of my previous position with the US Air Force and Cherokee Nation. OBXtek Inc. won the new contract and was instructed by the AF to contact me for a return position. While the company and job title changed, the Job Description remained the same, with one addition. Along with the work with the Air National Guard (ANG) and National Guard Bureau (NGB), my responsibilities now include managing and processing the Real Property Transactions for the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC).
Federal Realty Technician
10/20/2017 – 09/26/2018 – Cherokee Nations Technology Solutions
As a Contractor for the United States Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC), my position was Federal Realty Technician. My responsibilities included but were not limited to issuing new and extending or renewing expired lease, license, permit, and easement contracts for the Air Force (AF) on a global network. These duties required the development and distribution of Staff Summary Sheets along with the review, correction and composition of National Guard Bureau (NGB) base issued contracts. My background in Commercial and Residential Real Estate and Property Management afforded me the knowledge necessary to perform the desired tasks. These tasks consisted of researching and retrieving documentation from the AFCEC shared Website, SharePoint. These contracts were then reviewed for correct format, template, and accuracy. If there were discrepancies, a call was made to my NGB contact at Joint Base Andrews or the Action Officer at a particular base. We would then discuss what needed to be done to correct the issue, which might include returning the documents to them or allowing me to make the necessary changes or corrections to the document. My finished projects then went directly to the AFCEC Chief of Property Management Western Branch, for her approval and coordination. Another of my responsibilities was to fill in for the Manager of the Workflow system when she was out of office. This system was designed to process all Real Property requests from the Air Force and NGB bases to the correct authorities for coordination and signature. Workflow was then responsible to return the signed documents to the requesting parties.
