Producer/Director
With a B.S. degree in Television, Film and New Media from San Diego State University, I have been able to connect with creatives on a wide range of media platforms. While my love for film and media production derived from narratives I found myself gravitating towards other means of production. I've taken the producing and directing skills learned from narratives and applied them to commercials and branded content. With an efficient and methodical producing mindset, I have been able to produce top tier commercials and shorts for pennies on the dollar. My creative direction on the other hand stems from a deeper meaning of core values and multi-cultured experiences. Applying these approaches to what�s on screen results in a unique experience that takes you on a ride from beginning to end. Let�s not forget my close knit community of filmmakers he surrounds himself with.
I maintained a 4.0 GPA through a well-balanced program of study, which is not only very systematic and creative by nature, but also helped build my leadership and team building qualities. To date, my career has consisted of multiple positions in the industry, both creative and below the line. My role as a Producer has taught me how to manage a project both in the office and on set. As a producer, I managed FileMaker Pro, Excel spreadsheets, Google documents, and created schedules in Movie Magic. I�m required to schedule meetings, keep track of production materials and carry out administrative duties that keep production moving smoothly. These duties overlapped with my most recent productions. As the producer for a documentary on immigration and producer of a short film about drug abuse I was able to get my work recognized through multiple top tier film festivals. This experience has taught me how to deal with serious situations in a diverse setting. While these are just highlights of my production career, I believe they demonstrate the well rounded individual that you would be bringing to your team.
