I am A Mathematics graduate from the University of Kent looking to utilize my Analytical skills and knowledge gained for a data Analytics role or similar. During my time at university, I have developed excellent interpersonal skills and leadership qualities from the various positions of responsibility I was in such as being the president of the travel society for 2 years and being a team Kent executive. As a result, I am incredibly adaptable to my working environment and I am looking to secure a new opportunity where I can apply my knowledge and soft skills acquired.

Part Time Jobs At University

Bar Work at Club Venue: duties included pouring drinks and taking orders behind the till, keeping the club looking presentable and making sure every customer was satisfied with their club experience.
Nursery Supervisor: Supervised kids aged 2-5 at the nursery located on the university campus, interacted with them to promote communication and helped with basic mathematics

Private Maths Tutoring at St Matthews Academy

A secondary school asked all of the able maths students to aid their struggling pupils for the upcoming GCSE’s, the tutors where all assigned a student to help over 5 months in achieving their targeted grade for the upcoming exam. The student that was given to me went from an E grade to their targeted C grade.

Tutor at the Kumon Education Centre:

This is an extracurricular institution that helps out young children set the ground work to achieve academic excellence in mathematics and English for their respective futures. The Role consisted of marking and grading work, giving constructive feedback to each student and tutoring the children in the areas they needed help with.

Further positions of responsibility

President of the Travel Society

The role consisted of delegating work to members of my committee for the planning and organizing of large student trips across Europe. During my time as president:

• I doubled the membership levels from roughly 600 to 1200 members within the space of 2 years making it one of the largest societies on campus.
• Partnered with our local travel Agency STA travel for exclusive sponsorship deals for my members and reduced travel prices.
• Increased the number of trips the society goes on each year from 3 trips a year to 3 trips a term by efficiently delegating work to each committee member

Team Kent Executive

This is an executive student group chosen within the University for the Responsibility of allocating the student union budget. We were given a budget of £20,000 and had to decide on how to appropriately split the funding between all of the societies and clubs across campus that required support. Also came with the responsibility of planning and organizing: Movember month to help raise money and awareness for men’s health, the student sports awards and the end of year summer ball.

Kickboxing club Treasurer

Responsible for the kickboxing clubs finances; the role included:
• Creating a yearlong budget and managing the clubs spending to stay within the budget
• Finding an efficient pricing strategy for the membership and equipment fees to attract new members
