Sofija Nedic was born in 1991 in Belgrade, Serbia.
She started playing the piano at age five.
Sofija is a prize winner of over twenty piano competitions worldwide including Vienna International Young Pianists in Austria, Konzerteum in Athens, Greece, Citta di Barletta in Italy, Russian Music Piano Competition in San Jose (USA), Los Angeles Liszt Piano Competition (USA)...etc
Sofija performed as a soloist with the San Jose Youth Symphony.
She was admitted to Belgrade Conservatory of Music at age fourteen as the youngest student, and graduated with honors in 2011.
Upon graduation,she moved to San Francisco to study at San Francisco Conservatory of Music,where she graduated on a Master Degree level in 2013, and received "Marina Green Award" for the best achievement in piano.
Apart from her active performance career, Sofija has been teaching for ten years already.
She worked in renowned music institutions in Belgrade ("Josif Marinkovic music school" and "Kornelije Stankovic music school" ) where she taught piano and chamber music.
She has been working for a number of music schools in the Bay Area such as : McAllister Music Studios, Golden Key Piano School, San Mateo Piano...etc
She has been a resident pianist at the Garden Court of Palace Luxury Collections in San Francisco for three years.
