Studio set-up and experience with various camera and lighting systems and modifiers, tethered shooting with CaptureOne. Still-life product photography of a variety of products and materials including home goods, antiques, apparel, on-figure, accessories, shoes, jewelry, and fine jewelry on-model.
Adobe software including Photoshop, Lightroom, Bridge, InDesign layouts, and experience making GIFs from still images and video. Experience in retouching with a tablet including film restoration, color correction, products for ecommerce, as well as skin and headshots.
Digital printing including large format and roll paper on Epson printers and scanning negative and positive film (on both Imacon and Epson scanners).
Analog photography including large format view cameras, film development, darkroom printing, and historical processes wet plate photography and alternative processes printing.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, FileMaker Pro, digital asset management systems and other digital archiving processes, as well as social media and newsletter platforms.

Worked in a studio production team to produce high quality photographs of ecommerce fashion merchandise that included clothing on-model and on-mannequin, as well as tabletop accessories such as handbags, shoes, and jewelry. Daily set up of lighting and photography equipment for multiple sets as well as use of software such as CaptureOne and digital asset management systems.

Assisted photographer on location shoots and performed digital asset management including scanning, archiving, and retouching a high volume of images and vintage negatives. Accurately depicted condition of objects for condition reports, and assisted prospective buyers with viewing auction items during preview period.

Styled and photographed products in-studio as well on-location lifestyle shoots. Retouched and managed post-production (silhouetting, cropping, resizing) for website, blog, and newsletters. Managed digital assets, photo research, social media, and image and press requests. Collaborated with graphic design and copywriting team.

Museum of the City of New York • New York, NY - Freelance Printer & Digital Technician September 2015 – March 2017
Worked under head museum photographer to create exhibition-quality digital inkjet prints on large format Epson printer for sale in museum shop and commissioned orders. Produced accurate photographic print reproductions of historical documents and objects from museum archives for museum and gallery exhibitions.

Worked directly under Photo Editor conducting photo research to locate photographers, source images, and permissions for use in the magazine, scouted props, and locations. Created mood boards for upcoming shoots and proposals for upcoming features. Assisted with production by booking studios, helping on set during shoots, assisting with invoices, and post-production of images.

Provided technical support for students and faculty using the School of Visual Arts Digital Lab facilities by managing equipment rentals via Filemaker Pro. Assisted students and faculty with scanning and digital printing (Epson and Imacon systems), color management/profiling, and Adobe software (Photoshop, Lightroom, Bridge).

Freelance Photography Experience:
Commissioned weddings and portraits, headshots for actors and musicians, record album artwork, and promotional photos. Commissioned artist portraits, studio interiors, and open studios event photos for creative spaces company, Brooklyn Fire Proof. Commissioned fine art digital prints.
Assisted for wet plate photographers and alternative process classes at the School of Visual Arts, Penumbra the Center for Alternative Photography, and Pioneer Works. Served as a teaching assistant at the School of Visual Arts for professor Len Delessio’s Studio Lighting I and II classes, as well as both professor Bina Altera’s and Joyce Culver’s Intro to Digital Photography, Adobe and Printing classes.
