Part-time writer, proofreader or transcriber
Hello,
I possess an extensive background in journalism, including stints at the New York Times, Washington Post and Seattle Times. I'm strictly seeking a freelance position that exploits my strong grammar, research skills and editing abilities while allowing me to pursue other creative endeavors full-time. (I'm also spending a bit of time taking care of my octogenarian mother. So a remote job is ideal.) Transcribing was an essential part of my job as a beat reporter at multiple newspapers.
