I served in the United States Marine Corps from 2006 to 2010. I was an infantry rifleman (MOS 0311), I was honorably discharged after four years as an E-4 (Corporal). I conducted two combat deployments to Iraq (Karmah; 2007. Trebil; 2009). I consider myself to be a very hard worker and aim to maintain a high level of integrity.

Continued to train in unit workup for Iraq deployment to Karmah, Iraq in July 2007. Earned the billet of Squad Radio Operator. The squad radio operator is responsible for making sure all communication equipment is in proper working condition as well as ensuring the encryption code was updated every week, also assisted the platoon radio operator in the upkeep of the platoons’ communication equipment. Conducted 250 combat patrols in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. I safely returned to Hawaii in May 2008 and conducted second workup for deployment to Trebil, Iraq. After pre-deployment leave, I redeployed in October 2009 and conducted force protection operations. Under force protection duties, I was responsible for maintaining security at our base of operations as well as providing security for High ranking Iraqi government officials while they conducted meetings. This meant searching the building to ensure it was safe, setting up a cordon to ensure no one came in or out of the building while the meeting was in progress, ensuring over watch was set up as well as roving patrols.
