National Society of Leadership and Success – Tacoma, WA May 2018-present
Student President/Intern
• Orchestrated the creation of an NSLS Chapter at PLU after the original President stepped down in order to create a valuable learning environment for future leaders on campus
• Organized and oversaw all required programming events for members to achieve induction by communicating with the National Chapter, the PLU on-campus advisor, and 7 members of the Executive Board
• Recruited and inducted 76 regular members and 8 Executive Board members into the society in the inaugural semester of the chapter on campus

PLU Wang Center for Global Education – Tacoma, WA August 2017-Present
Global Ambassador
• Advocated for global education at PLU events through speaking one-on-one with students, sharing my own experiences studying away, and supporting on-campus initiatives in order to promote the importance of studying away to interested and prospective students
• Developed programing such as Study Away 101 sessions and events during International Education Week to advise students about local study away programs emphasizing the ability to learn about new cultures in local communities
• Worked with Wang Center staff with office work whenever needed

PLU Global Studies Department May 2018 – Present
Student Worker
• Managed student information on the Department’s Sakai website and the Department Google Drive
• Collaborated with the Department Chair and other Global Studies professors to create informational and social events for intended majors, as well as students already declared in the major

SPANISH LANGUAGE EXPERIENCE
La Cámara de Turismo – El Valle de Antón, Panamá July-August 2018
Intern
• Investigated a local conflict between community members and the municipality regarding the ownership of a tourist area in order to deescalate tension within the community and attempt peaceful resolution
• Conducted interviews with community members to consolidate their perspectives into a conflict assessment given to the Cámara to be used in future resolution dialogue
• Increased advanced proficiency in the Spanish language

La Fundación Perez Scrimini – Montevideo, Uruguay January 2018
• Organized donations ranging from board games, clothing, and school supplies in separated areas in order to aid families while their child is fighting cancer
• Prepared 100+ signs for special outreach days in order to spread awareness for the commonality of childhood cancer and to raise money for pediatric cancer research
