I am a London based freelance makeup artists and beauty director that has worked Nationally and Internationally across Film, Fashion, Beauty & Bridal Makeup and has demonstrated history of working in the cosmetics industry, both freelance and in Retail Management . I have over 5 years experience in Makeup & Beauty including a BA Honours in Makeup and Prosthetics for Media and Performance.
The nature of my degree gave me 3 years extensive knowledge of shoots, and shoot organisation, which I have then advance moving into the expert work of fashion and commercial photography/videography.
I am not only skilled in all areas of makeup artistry including Bridal, Beauty, Drag and male grooming but have had significant experience working with all ages, races and genders and types of people, whether they are models, actors, colleagues or public . Throughout my career I had experience with directing and managing teams , and educating large groups as National training events with MAC cosmetics. I believe that my positive outlook, natural ability to network and lead, creative eye, management skills and my extensive professional knowledge of the makeup/hair/beauty industry; adaptable, professional, motivated personality means I flourish working as both an individual and as part of a team.
As well as my successful career in the beauty industry, my bridal website seconds as a popular beauty blog, as well as my personal blog 'Diary of a beauty seeker'. Although I have always been a strong writing, with good A* English Alevel results, and a BA Honours degree, I have recently gained a new passion for beauty writing, and I now strongly believe i would fit into the beauty department of a magazine company exceptionally well.

At MAC Cosmetics I was a key member of a small management team where I worked alongside 5 other members of staff to manage a store of 35 staff in a retail and customer service environment, as well as communicating with Regional Trainers to provide the best in store training for artists. I often was invited to Estee Lauder Head Office to assist in conduction regional product training for new launch updates and new starter basic training. I acted as a Product Specialist in the free standing Brighton store for 18 months, and during this time won 4 of 6 regional competitions between product specialist throughout the country. Some of my responsibilities in store included providing exceptional and personal service for customers, creating a weekly staff rotas, monitoring sales and targets, motivating the team, communicating with head office, dealing with customer complaints or queries, organising breaks and appointments. As well as managing, I provided a quality artistry service to clients and managed and created content for the stores social media platforms. While in this role we were reposted as a team on the national MAC socials over 10 times and personally 5 times.

At Indigo Luna my role was to create beautiful social media content, and organise the brand feed to appeal to customers. I Alongside this I posted 1 blog per week about cruelty free topics / women's health / environmental issues to create a large footfall on the website or potential customers who fall under Indigo Lunas clientele.
