Company Commander (Student) The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina - Charleston, SC August 2016 to May 2017
This was NOT a paid position (but I learned a lot from this leadership experience while at college)
As a Company Commander, it was my job to:
• Ensure the safety and well being for 103 cadets
• Set goals for the company and see that they are accomplished
• Delegate tasks for the seniors to oversee within their designated groups
• Assign appropriate consequences for cadets who did not follow the rules
• Manage the overall schedule for the entire company
Head Lifeguard YMCA - Simpsonville, SC June 2015 to August 2016
• Ensure the safety of all patrons, in and around pool area
• Trained to give CPR and first aid training
• Keep all lifeguards accountable for their jobs throughout shift
• Was asked to take on head lifeguard position within first two weeks of working at the YMCA
