• Compilation of the documentation and performance of tests in the plant (including chromatography) for the obtaining of Medical Validation of liquid Oxygen and Nitrogen products.
• Preparation of logigrams for the implementation of the program to eliminate untimely plant shutdowns in the distributed control system.
• Updating of the P&IDS’s of the plant, flow plans, electrical diagrams and other diagrams using AutoCAD.
• Collaboration in maintenance tasks of instruments and plant equipment (including pumps, distillation columns, heat exchangers, centrifuges and engines).
Research and projects
• BS Final Project: design and feasibility study of a chlorobenzene manufacturing plant, performing the role of group leader, leading a total of 5 people during 6 months of work. The project included not only the design of the process and all the equipment but also the design of the control system, security, environment and economical studies, and the corresponding P&ID’s and flow diagrams of the plant.
• Independent studies doing research in the area of solid particles studying gas-particle fluidization using a rheometer.
• Currently doing research in the area of fluid mechanics studying a new process for the recovery of fine particles from an aqueous suspension designing both computational models and experiments.
